❓ Did you know that the "21st Century Mix" was created to celebrate Rank 1's 15-year anniversary? Piet had been dropping some modern day/Bigroom bootlegs of Airwave since 2011, but for this special occasion they decided it was time to make another update for their most beloved track of all time!
❓ The 21st Century Mix is the second rework of Airwave they've made; in 2003 they reworked it as well, added vocals by Aino Laos and renamed it "Breathing (Airwave 2003)". Benno once explained that Breathing was created to support the release of their debut album Symsonic in Germany. Wunderbar!
❓ Armin van Buuren picked Airwave (21st Century Mix) as Tune Of The Week on Episode #675 of his A State Of Trance radioshow which aired on Thursday August 7th, 2014.
