As the ASOT #147 interview above reveals, this Rank 1 Remix was rejected because the label (or original artists) felt the breakdown was too long. Piet and Benno tried to shorten it but they didn't like the result. With there being no way to find a middle ground, the remix was never released as consequence.
It did however get broadcast during ASOT Episode #147 in 2004 and during Rank 1's Radio Rush Episode #005 in 2010.
