| ❓ Did you know "Top Gear" was premiered during Rank 1's Trance Energy 2005 live performance as an untitled track? It was originally not supposed to be released, but the crowd reaction to it and subsequent fan hype made Piet and Benno change their minds: it was selected as the B-side of what would eventually become the Opus 17 / Top Gear EP. |

I always believed Opus 17 to have preceded Top Gear but in hindsight it seemed that Opus was created and added AFTER Top Gear, given how radically different from the usual Rank 1 it sounded. |
