| ❓ When Piet Bervoets and Benno de Goeij signed a new record deal in 1999, they were in need of a new project name: they though it would be funny if the name 'Rank 1' would sit at #1 in the charts. With their second single "Airwave" this banter between friends became a reality and three decades onward Rank 1 are known as one of the most iconic names in Trance music history. |

| ❓ For their legendary live performance atTrance Energy 2002, Piet and Benno created a sweeping rendition of "Black Snow": combined with the mesmerizing visuals at the event, it took the original to a whole other level! |
